🤔 Why I built TenantHop
If you work with more than one Microsoft tenant, you know the drill. A customer calls, you need to check a Conditional Access policy or a device in Intune, and first you’re signing out, switching directories, picking the right account and clicking through three portals until you finally land in the right tenant. Doing that ten times a day gets old fast.
The thing is, almost every Microsoft admin portal can be opened directly in a specific tenant. The catch: every portal does it differently, and none of it is properly documented. Entra and Intune want the tenant ID in the path, Defender and Purview use ?tid=, Exchange and Teams want the domain, and the Microsoft 365 admin center needs a completely different partner URL. 💡 Good to know
For partner access to the Microsoft 365 admin center you need an active GDAP relationship. Exchange and Teams select the tenant by its default domain, so add it to unlock those links. Everything else works with any account that has the right roles in the target tenant, including B2B guest admins.
🔒 Privacy
TenantHop doesn’t need a sign-in and asks for no permissions at all. All processing happens locally in your browser. Tenant IDs and domains you enter are never stored on or sent to any server. Tenants you choose to save stay in your browser’s local storage on your device only, and you can delete them anytime.
